The California Zephyr is 51 hours and 20 minutes of great adventure. The trip begins in Chicago and ends in Emeryville, across the bay from San Francisco. The route runs through 7 states - Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California.
The trains stops at 33 stations along the way, including some of the most interesting cities in the USA, including Denver, Salt Lake City and Reno.
You can enjoy the panoramic landscapes of America, sitting comfortably in a carriage equipped with a floor-to-ceiling windows, and a delicious meal will be waiting for you in the restaurant car.
You will spend two nights on the train. If you seek comfort and privacy, you can book a room in one of the train's sleeping cars, where you can rest in comfort and prepare for the next day's adventures.
